What is it?
Fiberphone is a telecommunications service that takes advantage of a customer’s fibre optic connection to the Internet to make and receive phone calls using Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology.

How does it work?
Instead of transmitting phone calls over the standard copper wires used by existing telecommunications providers, Fiberphone uses special phones designed to communicate over the Internet.

Why would I want it?
Fiberphone is an innovative company offering a superior service. The attractiveness of the service is that it provides beneifits that traditional providers are unable to match. Fiberphone strives not only to be technologically superior, but also to be price competitive and believe in most cases we can decrease a customers monthly spend.

What is provided?
Everything. We provide a completely managed service from phone management to the transition off copper.

How much does it cost?
The cost of our service to your organisation is determined number of different factors: the number of phones and extensions, and the call usage affect the monthly charge. Our goal is to be achieving savings of 15-20% for our customers, however, actual savings will vary depending on a customers needs. What do I need?
To use our service you need to have a live UFB, RBI or Loop fibre connection with internet service being provided over the fibre. Fiberphone works with a range of internet Retail Service Providers, so as long as your connection is fibre based, you’re all set to go.

How can I change the email address that voicemail messages are sent to?
You can do this using our SiteAdmin Portal. Please email if you need the login details.

What are the terms of the contract?
Fiberphone does not lock customers into a fixed term contract. The customer pays in advance for the service they use on a monthly basis.

Can I buy phones from Fiberphone?
No. Fiberphone supplies & maintains a fleet of remotely-managed VoIP phones as part of it’s overall managed cloud communications service. Fiberphone does not sell phones.

Can I connect my own phones?
No. Fiberphone owns and maintains all devices connected to the Fiberphone cloud.
